MUKESH SHARMA - DELHI NCR

Childhood / Youth / Professional Life

Mukesh hails from Bahadurgarh, an Industrial town in Haryana near Delhi. He studied in a normal school and was an average student in his studies. His interests were mainly playing games like Kanche (Marbles), Lattoo (Top), Kho-Kho and Kite Flying. He was very famous in the nearby area as he use to win in all these games but when it came to Studying, he found it very tough. With great difficulty, he passed his secondary school. 

During his early Youth days, Mukesh developed interest in Working out in GYM and he also learnt Karate

After finishing his school, Mukesh went for 3 Years Vocational course in Computer Applications as part of his Bachelor of Commerce degree and that was the time, when he started taking interest in his Studies. In fact that was the turning point in his Student career.

Mukesh went on to complete his Masters in Information Technology and Masters in Computer Applications and completed various certifications in Information Technology field

PROFESSIONAL CAREER 

Mukesh started working for a Delhi based company, where he  worked for 8 months. He left the job as the company was not able to pay his salary for entire tenure. It was a major setback for a Youngster who has just started his career

Taking this setback in his stride, Mukesh joined another company but was fired after 8 months due to lack of Projects

Mukesh joined another company but again had to leave after 8 months as Company could not pay the salary after 4 months

Mukesh didn't loose heart with these obstacles and joined a company named Srijan Technologies. After working for nearly 2 years, he was recruited by Hughes Communications India Limited as they were impressed with his work

From Hughes, Mukesh moved to MERCER, one of the most reputed Consulting firms, worldwide. He kept on updating his skills and worked very hard during these Job stints. For 3 long years, he kept on working on enhancement of his skills for which he used to travel from Bahadurgarh to Gurgaon to attend Seminars and Conferences at his own expenses. These seminars covered topics like Motivation, Team Building, Self Analysis and Self Development

Mukesh feels that he was lucky to meet new people in his life, who always came at important junctures in his life and contributed to his growth and learning. He has high regards for all those people and keeps in touch with them on regular basis. He feels that a person should be open to learning from other peoples' experiences and consider this as part of their self development and self evaluation process. These people can teach you few critical things, that none of the B schools will ever  teach you. Mukesh considers this as a Gift from God and appreciates this  

During his stint with MERCER, Mukesh started reading more and more books on Finance, Management, Self Analysis and Self Development

He also worked hard on his Interpersonal skills, along with his technical skills required for his Job. 

Mukesh always had a perception that his Spoken English is not upto the mark, for which he use to study English Books and Novels to improve upon 

TURNING POINT IN HIS CAREER 

He got to know about working in a different country and culture and learned a lot from this experience

Leaving job to Join Business 

Inspite of being into a well paid job in a Top MNC, Mukesh decided to join his Family business as he had plans to take it to the next level

Hence, in 2015, Mukesh left MERCER and joined his Family Business along with his Father & Brother

Today Mukesh Heads the Sales & Marketing division of Akash Blowers Pvt. Ltd and also oversees the HR and Finance divisions 

Hobbies & Passions

Mukesh has various Hobbies due to his versatile Interests 

· Attending Seminars and Conferences for learning

· Meeting New People

· Travelling 

· Driving

· Finding out Solutions to any given Challenge 

Mukesh is Passionate about giving his 100% in whatever he does, whether it is his family, his business or his Social life

Mukesh likes to keep in touch with people and meets his friends on regular basis. He prefers going on long drives with his family and friends.

Contribution to the Society

Mukesh wants to work for the Society but has not joined any organization or NGO at this point of Time. However, he wishes to work for the betterment of the Society and wants to contribute for this noble cause. Currently, Mukesh visits a Blind school and contribute for them

Give Your 100% - Mukesh believes in giving his 100% in whatever he does. When he was into learning anything, he gave his 100% to achieve the objective of the training. When  he started working for somebody, he again gave his 100%. Though he faced challenges in his early part of his career, he continued to make his contributions. Finally, when he joined his family business, he again gave his 100%. No matter, what he was doing, he never did it casually

Keep Learning & Keep Growing - Mukesh has been very keen on learning new things in life. He kept on learning new things and never felt satisfied with his achievements in learning. He was always in search of skills enhancement and never let his urge to learn more, die within himself. Also, his learning was not limited to his own field but other fields too. He has a simple philosophy in life that the moment you stop learning, you stop growing

Family is Important & So is our Culture - Mukesh believes that a person should have a proper Work Life balance in life. Too much of anything is harmful in a long run. Sometimes he is busy with Strict Timelines and daunting Targets but still he manages to spend quality time with his Family. He strongly believes that a person who has support from his / her family, he /she is never alone in facing  challenges in Life and comes out with Flying colors in all circumstances

HOW OUR HERO INSPIRES US

Learning, Learning and More Learning 

1. Though Mukesh was not very keen on studying during his school days and he hardly scored good marks, he developed a keen interest in learning new things

2. He excelled in everything he did post his School days and good amount of time and resources on enhancing his skills

3. Whether it was Software Development, Soft Skills or Managerial skills, he continued to learn more and more by any means and implemented those learnings too

4. He attends Seminars, Conferences and trainings on his own expenses as he values training like an investment on self

1. Mukesh started as a software developer  in a very small company  but grew to the level of a Manager in big MNCs due to sheer hardwork and commitment

2. The person who was not so comfortable in his spoken english at one point of time, went to USA for a project and excelled in it 

3. Once settled in a well paid  job, one would be  reluctant to change his profession and field. However, Mukesh was an exception to this. Not only did he joined his Family Business , he did well to learn sales and marketing skills that were required primarily in his business

4. Today he runs a very well established business and has developed a very good and sincere team under him to work in the growth of his business. Still, he aspires to bring more  employment options for others, thus paying back to the society in a very Generous manner

5. Mukesh wish to achieve Turnover of INR 500 Crores for his company and wants to generate employment for atleast 500 people in next few years. He is working very hard to reach this goal and hopefully, he would be able to accomplish the same in Near Future 

WORK IS IMPORTANT AND SO IS THE FAMILY

1. Inspite of his hectic work schedule, High targets and other challenges in Business, Mukesh tries to spend quality time with his Family and friends, thus maintaining perfect Work Life Balance

2. He nurtures his children well and want them to become good human beings with high character values and qualities. He reads Shrimad Bhagwad Gita along with his kids and tries to practise it in real life 

3. He wishes to work for the success of his Business but also wants to cultivate the habits of learning, hard work, Sincerity and Commitment within the employees of the company. For achieving this, he tries to spend time with his team and understand their issues

4. Mukesh has high regards for his father and his brother who have been the integral part of the Business for long long time. He believes that Family support is essential for the success of any Business

The company that manages the IT related assignments for Mukesh's Business venture today, is the same company that once fired Mukesh after 8 months of his job, due to lack of projects.  !! Anything & Everything is Possible !!

Mukesh Sharma Lives with his Family in Bahadurgarh (Haryana) and runs his family business successfully along with his father and brother 

The Business that was merely a Manufacturing unit, doing Job work, has been Transformed into a Mid Size Company with major focus on Sales & Marketing, HR & Quality assurance
