Childhood / Youth / Professional Life

Jatinder was born in Village Chandiani Khurd , District SBS Nagar, Punjab. He had a normal childhood , going through the regular studies in his school in his village only. 

During his early Youth days, Jatinder developed a keen interest in reading Books though he does not consider himself as a very studious person. He has completed his Bachelor in Arts and his Bachelor in Education degree and eventually, he chose teaching as a Profession. He has been working as a teacher since the age of 21 and enjoys doing his job

Since the age of 13, Jatinder was attached to a religious Sect in Punjab, that is followed by millions across the world but his inquisitive nature  took him further on the path of spirituality wherein he does not follow any particular religion or sect now. He is more of an Agnostic but truly believes in power of Karma. He strongly feels and believes that one should have a clean heart, Good Intentions and right approach towards living a simple and peaceful life and the nature will support the human being by all its means and ways. This shows that he was a bit different than other boys of his age.  
 

In order to earn some passive Income,  he got attached to various MLMs (Multi-Level Marketing Companies). Though he could not make much money in the association and lost his money too, he was able to get some long term benefits in his life.

Hobbies / Passions

Jatinder has a list of Hobbies & Passions that comprises of Reading, Paragliding, Mountaineering, Motor Bike Riding, Cycling, Working out in GYM, Boxing etc.  Though he keeps on developing new hobbies, his main objective is to have Healthy and Happy Life. 

He has driven to almost all the Hills of north India on his bike as well as on his car. He loves to explore places, cultures and people by visiting new avenues. He feels that his excursions are not like Normal family holidays though his family accompanies him on these trips. Its more to explore areas, the people, their daily lives and their culture, thus giving it a touch of educational as well as Social Excursion. Jatinder has gone on his bike to places Leh , Ladakh, Sach Pass, Shimla etc, both Solo as well as in a group

Social Reforms  

 Jatinder founded an Organization “SAMVAAD” which means Dialogue. This organization works in the District of SBS nagar, Punjab, educating people to avoid High cost and Expensive weddings that leads to Financial problems for Families of both sides of the couple. 

SAMVAAD has been conducting meetings in the Villages where people are obsessed for fat and Big Budget weddings putting too much pressure on themselves and set a wrong example for others in the community too

SAMVAAD has been in existence for last 4 years and has been instrumental in inspiring Youth  and their Families to go ahead with weddings in more simple and sobre manner, thus reducing the expenses on Gifts along with Invitation cards, Exchange of gifts by both sides, Spending lakhs on Resorts, catering , Orchestra and few unnecessary ceremonies. As per the rough calculations, around Rs. 15 Crores has been saved by various people in last 2 years, only by following the simple principles discussed by SAMVAAD Team during their meetings

Team SAMVAAD does not lay out any rules or force people to follow their principles - People are briefed about the wrong practices in the society but the final decision is theirs only 

 SAMVAAD does not ask for any donations to run its activities. Also, there are no office bearers for SAMVAAD. Yet, it runs in a very Honest and Transparent manner, guided by Jatinder and other team members of SAMVAAD

Philosophy of Life 

NEVER FOLLOW ANYONE. 

Jatinder believes that we should not follow anyone blindly. Before following anyone, whether Spiritually or Politically, we should try pratising their thinkings / beliefs and see whether they are practical. We should not follow anyone just because many others are following them with a herd mentality

EQUILIBRIUM IN LIFE IN NECESSARY

We should maintain equal balance in anything we do in our lives. Excess of anything is bad. Personal life, Finances, Social Life, Entertainment etc have bee defined and perceived differently by different individuals and excess of anything is bad for the individual.

LIVE IN PRESENT

Jatinder believes that Life is to lived in its Present. Past is already gone and Future is uncertain. We should not be wasting our present only because we have faced some issue in the past. Its gone. Also, we should not be wasting our Present, while thinking about our future. Live in the current moment is the philosophy followed by Jatinder  

Future Plans

Jatinder wants to give Good education to his children. He has two sons and want them to take up the study stream as per their own liking. He does not want his children to follow any particular trend  and it all depends upon their own choice. However, he wish that he can guide them whenever and wherever required

HOW DOES OUR HERO INSPIRES US

Transformation can happen anytime in Life - Jatinder feels that he never considered himself as a very studious person during his school and college days. He was always thinking of avoiding regular chores of school and college that emphasized on academic qualifications. Yet, he has read around 900 + books in this young age in various languages in order to gain knowledge. He believes that education should comprise of both theoretical as well as Practical knowledge. You cannot judge a child basis on a 3 hour examination. Every child has an individual ability and hence should be allowed to pursue what he/she feels is good for them. 

A Social Reformer (Add value to the Society) - Jatinder works for the well being of the society, as he thinks that its our responsibility to grow ourselves as well as let the society and community also grow with us. If the equilibrium of life is maintained, then only, we can think of having a Balanced society where everyone is given a fair chance to grow and improve upon as a whole instead of increasing the gap between rich and poor, Educated and illiterate etc. He believes that every person has the ability to make his /her contribution to the society and work towards the betterment of the community. There would be obstacles in it, people may get against you but if your intentions are clear and you want to work with Honesty and Sincerity, nothing can stop you

Passionate about Life through his Hobbies - Jatinder has been following various hobbies and passions in is life and enjoy it to the fullest. As he believes in living in the Present, he feels that life is a journey to be enjoyed and not a race to be completed. We can very well appreciate the fact that this  young man has been living an Extra Ordinary life, inspite of living in a small town. He is not running after Luxuries and Materialistic things in his life and is much more content than many other people with more resources and more luxuries in the Society. He is a vivid Reader, a regular Biker, a Fitness Freak as well as a Social Reformer, trying to give more meaning to life, instead of just living the life for the weekends or running after the Materialistic things of the world
